After Dallas Police Chief Hall spoke several times about “transparency”, it is crystal clear that the Dallas Police Departments handling, of the arrest of DPD police officer Amber Guyger, for killing Botham Shem Jean, was a staged and coordinated event.
After DPD Police Chief Renee Hall repeatedly told the public that this shooting would be handled with complete “transparency”, Guyger was given the red/blue carpet treatment. She was “arrested” in Kaufman County Sunday evening (we were told over the last few days that Guyger was at “home”); booked; issued bail ($300,000); made bail and released within one (1) hour. This had to be a coordinated effort with the knowledge of Chief Hall, the Texas Rangers, the Dallas County DA and Guyger’s legal representatives.
Guyger shot and killed Botham Shem Jean two (2) blocks from the Dallas Police Headquarter in DALLAS COUNTY, but was arrested in Kaufman County, approximately 30 miles southeast of the city.
You only get one chance to make a good first impression. This is our FIRST impression of what Chief Hall does when the spotlight is on her. This is the first major test of Chief Hall and the initial grade looks like a “F”. Lets see if she can bring that grade up over the next few days and weeks.
